2019 Annual Symposium Talk and Poster Information

Oral Presentation Information
Except for the keynote talks all oral presentations will be in 20 minute time slots. Please prepare your talk to take about 15 minutes, this will allow 5 minutes for questions and discussion. There will normally be four parallel sessions. In order to enable people to move among sessions, we will ask the session chairs to make sure that all speakers keep on time and that each talk begins at its scheduled time.

The lecture rooms will be equipped with laptops running Windows 10 or 7, with Microsoft Office 2016 (which includes PowerPoint 2016) and Adobe Reader installed.  A remote slide changer and laser pointer will be provided.  You can prepare your presentation either with PowerPoint or as a PDF in Adobe Reader. You will not be permitted to use your own laptop or tablet.

Please bring your presentation on a USB thumb drive.  To avoid compatibility issues among different versions of PowerPoint, we recommend that you avoid using fancy animation effects. Make sure that your presentation is loaded onto the computer in the room of your scheduled session well before the start of your session.

Poster Information
As there is enough space in the conference centre your poster can be presented over almost the entire duration of the symposium. Try to put up your poster on the first day and make sure that you take it down again until Thursday evening. Pins and poster boards will be provided. The maximum dimensions allowed for posters are 84 cm wide by 119 cm high (A0 Format).
