Tenure-track Professorship "Higher Plants"

(The appointment is initially limited to 6 years as assistant professor with qualification agreement (tenure track) .The career goal is the transition into an employment relationship for an indefinite time as an associate professor, 40 hours / week, to be filled in the summer semester 2020)
 

The Career Professorship for Higher Plants is assigned to the area "Systematic Botany and Geobotany". It supports the research field "Ecology and Nature Conservation" within the framework of the university profile-forming section "Climate Change Graz". A research focus in biodiversity and its spatio-temporal patterns, ecosystem processes and functions or vegetation change must be established. The application of modern methods of data analysis and modeling is desired. As part of the career professorship, the establishment of an independent research area and the acquisition and management of third-party funded projects is expected. The job holder represents the teaching in systematic botany and geobotany and looks after students.

Compensation:

The collective agreement minimum wage according to the specified classification is € 53254.60 gross / year or € 62977.60 gross / year with the conclusion of a qualification agreement.
